What was this about? My opportunity to conquer the world​

​​In January 2013 I had been given the unique opportunity to join the group exhibition ‘Exposition@W.N. Gallery’ in New York City from 5 – 18 in Januari 2013. The exhibition is complemented with the art book ‘The New Collectors Book’ that appeared at the same time as the opening of the exhibition (production is already in progress…). For me a wonderful opportunity to reach an international audience with my paintings. And another very welcome side effect: more people in The Netherlands will become familiar with my paintings and projects as well.

Before the exhibition opened, I wanted to fly to New York together with my paintings, making sure they arrived undamaged and on time. The trip also gaves me the chance to personally met the people that invited me. And when I was there, I was going to investigate the possibility to exhibit at other well-known Gallery’s, like Agora or to commission my work.

My request was​​​​​​​​​​​ ...
To finance the trip and transport of my paintings, because - as you may know - Fine Arts transportation is very expensive, I started a Crowd Fund Campaign Bride & Monks to New York. Since I do not have the financial resources myself, I turned to you all. I urgently turned to you: 'please make a donation and look in your network for other sponsors.

There is no time to waste: I need to raise 6000 euro’s in 26 days now! That’s the challenge.. closing time is 10th of December.
If the challenge is not met, you will get your money back.'

Next steps

Now I am back from New York with a lot of pictures and stories in my head, I will put them down in a digital journal for all of my sponsors who made it happen to me.
